Patient information
What happens at your appointment.
If you have not seen a podiatrist before, it helps to know what the visit involves. Nothing here is rushed, and nothing is done without explaining it first.
- 01
Book
Book online, or call the clinic if you would rather talk it through first. The appointment fee is payable when you book.
- 02
Tell us what is bothering you
We start by listening. What hurts, when it started, what makes it worse, and what you need to be able to do.
- 03
Assessment
Depending on the appointment, we look at your skin and nails, or at your joints, strength, footwear and the way you walk and run.
- 04
Diagnosis and explanation
We explain what we have found in plain English, and what we think is causing it. Ask us anything at this point.
- 05
Treatment plan
We agree what happens next together — treatment today, exercises, orthotics, or simply review in a few months.
- 06
Follow-up if required
We only ask you back when it will make a difference, and we will tell you why.
Before you come
- Bring the shoes you wear most, and your trainers if the problem involves walking or running.
- Wear or bring shorts if your knees or hips are part of the picture.
- Bring a list of any medication you take, and any letters or scan results you already have.
- Please arrive a few minutes early so we can use the full appointment for you.
Useful to know

- Please read our booking, payment and cancellation terms before you book.
